Roland

This is my son, Roland, riding in a trailer headed out for a day of olive picking. We spent last October and November in Dugi Otok, a very small island off the coast of Croatia, helping my husband's family with their olive harvest. There haven't been young children in the village for a long time, so Roland was taken on the back of lots of different wheelbarrows and trailers by the locals, and spent his mornings happily being towed around rocky terrain, and his afternoons playing in the blue waters off the Croatian coast.
